Fully automatic 3.000 kg Brinell Hardness Tester.

No operator measurement – higher speed, accuracy, reliability and ease with proper records and a high level of confidence in the test results.

The BRIN200D uses “state of the art” electronic technology.

The operator interface is via industrial membrane keyboard sealed to IP65 or via optional touch screen.

 

UKAS certified.

  

The Brinell hardness is measured in the authentic way and the test result is displayed on the monitor, test results are saved to disc as they are displayed and may be printed out at the end of the batch together with some statistics if required.

Automatic measurement adds only about 1 second to the cycle time and is consistent and independent of the operator.

Partially automated Brinell hardness tester: the operator starts the test and the machine loads the penetrators, then the user measures imprint diameters with the electronic micrometer. Machine’s electronic measure and print the diameter and the corrisponding hardness value.

UKAS certified.

If the component tested is part of a batch then the printer will also print comments – whether it is within limits, the hardness scale used, as well as the number of good components in the batch, the number of rejects, the time, the date, the batch number, the batch mean and standard deviation. 

The machine is supplied complete with a serial port enabling the test data to be further processed by a remote computer.

Optics integrated Brinell hardness tester.

The test load is automatically applied but the operator has to measure the imprint diameter with the scale on the display on the machine.

Test force application by traditional lever and weights with motorized hydraulic lift of lever. 

Optical projection of image with x 14 magnification onto an integral graduated screen, where it is measured by micrometer.  This reduces operator fatigue and speeds up testing.

High speed heavy duty Brinell hardness tester with automatic cycle.

Fully aytimatic machine cycle, wich means that if there is an operator all he needs to do is to load the component onto the machine table and press a footswitch. 

After the test has been completed the test result appears on the monitor and he removes the component. If it can be arranged that the machine is put into a line with components being fed to it automatically, the machine cycle can be initiated automatically. All elements of the machine cycle are operator variable and recorded. Calibration is not operator variable. 

Heavy duty, very strong construction – the large machine table could be repeatedly loaded with components weighing 10 tonnes without strain, and because it is stationary it is suitable for fitting into a line.  Test head is lowered onto workpiece and clamps it with a force of up to 3.500 kg.  This reduces the need for jigs and fixtures.  The clamp is independent of the indenter.
