NDTS90 CRT Based Ultrasonic Flaw Detector
Developed specifically to meet CURRENT customer requirements and requests for a High Speed, CRT based unit. Why CRT? CRTs are naturally easier on the eye and present the user with a virtually infinite resolution display as compared to digital displays, allowing easier perception of indications along the baseline. Most other digital units strive to present an infinite number of points within 640 points total across the horizontal baseline... assuming menu space does not occupy any of the horizontal display
In a world gone totally digital, the NDTS-90 provides the best compromise between the digital and analog world by offering a graphic user interface where controls are represented by images of associated controls. Simply touch the control and use the available knob or graphic Scroll Bar for faster operation.

The Quantum QFT 100 & 200 Series Portable Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors
Handheld Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors are truly a major breakthrough in ultrasonic flaw detection. NDT Systems engineers have developed methods to drive the ALL NEW, High Contrast Black & White backlit LCD display to unprecedented speeds, offering more dynamic waveform displays in the brightest of sunlight.
The new intuitive menus put all functions right "up front" thereby making them more operator instinctive. Setup and operation are very quick operations with direct access to flaw, shear and thickness modes. Built in help screens are on-line and available with a simple keystroke whenever you need them. There is virtually no need for a users manual.
Broadband and tuned frequency selections of 0.5, 1.0, 2.25, 5.0 and 10.0 MHz are standard features. RF, positive and negative half wave, and full wave rectified waveforms can be presented as either hollow form, filled or reverse field. The Quantum series was the first in the industry to offer an LCD display to be easily viewed in any light condition, day or night.
The QFT Series offers an optimized combination of penetrating power and resolution. The powerful adjustable 50-400V square wave and high gain broad band receiver measures thick attenuative materials up to 200 inches (5077mm) and at the other end of the spectrum can measure below 0.010" with an appropriate high frequency delay line transducer. The QFT Series resolving power even permits many coatings, including some plastic coatings as thin as 0.0050" (0.125mm) to be measured.
The QFT 200 Features a Color Coded Direct Access Keypad, DAC, DAG, Weld Curves, Weld Trig, 2 Flaw Gates, Peak Echo Hold, Zoom, User Definable Option Keys, Tilt Stand & More. An optional Data Logger is available.
The QFT Series offer superb sunlight viewability and a 7+ hour operation time between charges all in a 3Lb hand held package.

The PortaScan 007 Portable Imaging System
Is used to detect corrosion on oil platforms in the North Sea, in pipelines and tank farms from Alaska to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and airplanes from Seattle, Washington to Shanghai, Peoples Republic of China. Need to test a number of places in hard to get at areas? Easy. The PortaScan 007 Ultrasonic Imaging System can collect data from scanners up to 150' (45 m) away using the optional 007CCB150 control cable bundle. Do your tests require both single and dual element transducers? Simple. Just recall the test set up from the built in Quantum ultrasonic instrument, slip the appropriate transducer and insert into the holder and begin testing. Store or retrieve images with header data, and immediately evaluate easy to read "C" scan, "B" scan, 3D and spreadsheet displays of actual recorded values. The 007 also exports the acquired data in an ASCII format for use in spreadsheets or other evaluation programs. The PortaScan 007 is best suited for applications where high resolution and high definition are required, such as corrosion / erosion and where raw collected data needs to be imported into other systems.
