For the simplest cases, demagnetization is achieved by moving the workpiece away from the coil, which generates an alternating magnetic field of constant intensity (AC).

Multi-function demagnetization systems
These systems are able to deliver different magnetic fields.
These devices enable demagnetization in:
- Alternating current (AC)
- Half-wave direct current (HWDC) with cyclic polarity reversal to demagnetize difficult parts
- Full-wave direct current (FWDC) with cyclic polarity reversal to demagnetize to the core
Adjustable frequency demagnetization systems
The current intensity and relative frequency are selectable at the operator’s discretion and will be effectively delivered regardless of the presence or absence of the workpiece and its mass. The control of the demagnetization process is total.
High magnetic field penetration is guaranteed for demagnetization also at the core.
